REAL TALK AFRICA

The Real Talk team have recently returned from Ghana having filmed the first Real Talk Africa series. A crew of 5 worked with the MTA Ghana team members over a month to film an exciting series of studio programs and documentaries. The crew members were Muhammad Ahmad from MTA Germany, Tauseef Jafri from MTA Norway and Salman Abassi and Umar Ahmad from MTA International. The local team included 2 members who are working for the Ghana Broadcasting corporation, Abdul Hayye Moomin and Ibrahim Kwarteng. The team traveled across Ghana to document the work of the Ahmadiyya community within the country. A special program on the life of the current head of the Ahmadiyya communities stay in Ghana was filmed including interviews from the former President of Ghana John. Kufuor. Watch out for the new series of MTA Africa which launches next month on MTA International.

 

 

REAL TALK CANADA – BEHIND THE SCENES

The Real Talk team have been busy filming a new series in Canada. We’ve filmed 5 shows over the past week. Here are some behind the scenes pictures. Real Talk Canada launches next month on MTA International.

REAL TALK FILMS IN PARLIAMENT HILL

We were lucky to film our first program on Loyalty to Homeland in Parliament Hill, Ottawa. This is the first time the Ahmadiyya Community in Canada have filmed a program here. The panel included senior members of parliament Scott Simms and Jim Karygianis as well as the Ahmadiyya Communties Mubarak Nazir and Asif Khan. Here are some pictures from the event:

Starting on the 14th of June and playing throughout next month, we’re launching a new series of Real Talk Ladies edition. Our first program covers identity and what it means to be a Muslim women in the 21st century. Don’t miss this new series of Real Talk and do continue to send us your feedback.

 

REAL TALK UK TOUR – Season 4 now showing on MTA

The Real Talk team have been busy filming the 4th season of Real Talk. Series 4 will see the team travel to different cities within the UK. So far we’ve filmed in the historic University of Birmingham and in the town of Croydon.

REAL TALK BIRMINGHAM

The Birmingham shows were the first in the UK Tour series and the participation was beyond expectation. The first program was entitled Do we need Religion in today’s society? and the second was on the youth and service to community. Keep a look out for news on the launch dates for Real Talk UK TOUR.

REAL TALK SOUTH LONDON

Our Second set of programs will be from a school in Croydon who invited the teams to film 2 programs on education and identity. The program was a huge success and most of the audience were students from the school. The first program discussed the value of education amongst youth today. The second program discussed race and identity and proved to be a great informative debate.

We’ve recently been getting more exposure and recently the Real Talk show has been mentioned in a number of media platforms.

CROYDON GUARDIAN – the Croydon Guardian recently published a small article on the teams visit to St Joseph’s College as part of the UK tour.

WURD900 Radio Philladelphia

During the USA tour, Real Talk had the chance to collaborate with WURD900 Radio to air a special Real Talk radio program on Urban Life in America. WURD900am broadcasts throughout Philladelphia.
